Flights from Singapore
Highlights.
Bali is a whole universe in its own. It has so much to see and experience that its very difficult to choose.
Traffic is horrendous, it takes minimum 2 hours to get anywhere. So, if you have the time, I would do stays in 2 different locations/hotels: Nusa Dua-Ubud, or Seminyak-Ubud, to really apreciate the most of Bali without getting overwelmed with the hectic roads.
We have the contact of a driver that for £20-£30 a day he drives you wherever you want to go, he knows the best places in Bali and can act as a guide. We really like him and recommend him to everyone going to Bali.
You DO have to visit the Rice Terrace, 1 or 2 Temples and the Sunset Ceremony :)

NUSA DUA:
Chain Hotels 4 - 5 stars, with private beach and restaurants, like the chains in the Caribbean.
Westin Nusa Dua. £95 per night.
Sofitel Nusa Dua. £120 per night
Hyatt Nusa Dua. £150 per night
CANGGU - SEMINYAK:
Canggu and Seminyak are more vibrant, you can really soak the Balinese atmosphere here with plenty of trendy shops, restaurants and coffee shops. I personally like this area a lot. There are no 5 stars hotels here but villa type hotels with breakfast included and wifi and plenty of restaurants with fabulous food around. The down side is that you don't have private beaches in this area, beaches in Asia are public, but you can find many many beach clubs around.
Prices are way cheaper here.
Villa del Mar Canggu. £90 per night
Puri Beji Villa. £100 per night
Sandhya Villa. £130 per night
Hotel Indigo Seminyak. £130 per night . I REALLY like this hotel.
Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort. £150 per night
The Samaya Seminyak. £200 per night
UBUD:
The Samara Ubud. £45 per night
Alaya Resort Ubud. £90 per night. My friend recommended this one.
The Komaneka Hotel Ubud. £150 per night.
